Tuesday’s Weather Outlook; Inter-Mountain West/northern Plains/Midwest System, Southern Plains/Gulf Coast System, Great Lakes/Northeast system

On Tuesdya, a system will push through the Northern Plains, while a system develops along the Gulf Coast. Showers and storms will be likely in portions of the Gulf Coast and Southern Plains, as a system develops along the Gulf Coast. A few sotrms may become severe along portions of the Gulf Coast, as stronger forcing will mvoe into the area. The main threats from any storms that become severe, will be damaging winds and hail. On the backside of the system, accumulating snow will eb likely in portions of the Southwest Plains, where several inches of accumulation can be expected. In the Northern Plains, a system will push through the region. Rain will be possible, along with snow in portions of the Rockies and the Northern Plains/Midwest. Accumulations will reach over 4″ in some areas. In the Northeast and Great Lakes, rain and snow will be likely, as a weak system quickly pushes through. some snow accumulation can be expected. Below are the thunderstorma nd snowfall outlooks for Tuesday.
