Monday-Saturday Plains/Midwest/Great Lakes “Winter” Storm

Yet anothe rsystem will push through the Central US, brining the chance of accumulating snow to some areas. The storm system will move from the Panhandle of Texas, up into Missouri and into the Great Lakes by Saturday. A swath of snow will be likely on the north side of the system.  A general 1-3″ of snow will be likely in portions of the Plains into the Great Lakes. There will be higher accumulations of over 6″ back towards Nebraska, Kansas, Colorado and New Mexico. In this area dynamic cooling will be stronger, also an upsloap flow along the Front Range of the Rockies will increase accumulations. Below is the snowfall forecast for this system.
