Tuesday’s Weather Outlook, Northeast System, West System, Plains/Mississippi Valley System

On Tuesday, a system will exit the Northeast, while a system affects the West, and a new system develops in Southern Plains. Rain and snow will be likely in portions of the Northeast, as a system exits the Northeast. Some snow accumulation will be likely in the higher elevations. In the West, a system will continue to affect the West Coast. Bringing showers and a few storms the the area. Snow will be likely in portions of the Rockies, where accumulations will be possible. A piece of energy from this system will transfer into the Southern Plains, where a system will slowly develop. Showers and storms will be likely in portions of the Plains, Mississippi Valley and Southeast, associated with this developing system. Below are the thunderstorm and snowfall outlooks for Tuesday.
