¬†Monday’s Weather Outlook; West/Plains/Midwest System, Southeast System, Northeast System

On Monday, a system will exist the Northeast, as a system pushes through the Southeast and a system pushes through the Plains. Scattered showers will be likely in portions of the Northeast, as a system continues to pull away fromt he area. In the Southeast, showers and sotrm siwll be likely, as the remnants of Tropical Storm Olaf contine to push eastward through the region. In the Plains, a system will push through the area. Showers and storms will be likely in portions of the Inter-Mountain West, Plains and Midwest. Some storms may become severe during hte late Afternoon and Evening across portions of Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. As CAPE values will be between 1500-4500 J/KG, LI’s up to -7 and Effective Bulk Shear values up to 40-75KT. The lack of forcing and moisture will limit the overall severe threat and coverage. The main threats from any storms that become severe, will be damaging winds, hail and an isolated tornado. On the backside of the system, snow will be likely in portions of the Rockies and the Northern Plains. Accumulations are likely. Below are the thunderstorm and snowfall outlooks for Monday.sev 675

Sunday’s Weather Outlook; Great Lakes/Northeast System, Gulf Coast System, West/Plains System

On Sunday, a system will pull away from the Great Lakes, while a system pushes through the Gulf Coast and a system continues to push through the West. Showers will be likely in portions of the Northeast and Great Lakes, as a system pulls away from the area. Showers and storms will be likely along the Gulf Coast, as the remnants of Tropical Storm Olaf from the Pacific, push throgh the area. In the West, a system will continue to push throgh the region, as it moves towards the Plains. Showers and storms will be likely over portions of the Plains and Inter-Mountain West, assocaited with this system. Snow will be likely in portions of the Rockies in the Inter-Mountain West.
