Tuesday’s Weather Outlook; Plains/West System, Northeast/Mississippi Valley System


On Tuesday, a system will push into the Northeast, while a system continues to push through the West. Showers and storms will be possible along and ahead of a system pushing through the Northeast and Mississippi valley. In the West, a system will continue to push eastward through the region. Showers and storms will be possible in the lower elevations and snow in the higher elevations. In the Southern Plains, showers and storms will also be possible near a warm front retreating north ahead of the West system. With limited instibility, some storms may become severe in portions of  Texas and New Mexico. The Main threats will be hail, damaging iwnds and an isolated tornado. Below is the thunderstorm and snowfall outlook for Tuesday.
