Tuesday’s Weather Outlook; West System, Mid-Atlantic/Southeast/Great Lakes System

On Tuesday, a system will cotninue to affect the West, while a system continues to push eastward through the Ohio Valley. Showers and storms will be possible in portions of the Great Lakes, Mid-Atlantic and Southeast, as a system continues to work through the  region. There is a slight risk for severe storms in portions of Florida, Georiga, South Carolina and North Carolina. Severe storms will be ongoing in the Morning and cotninue through the day across portions of Florida. CAPE values will be around 1500 J/KG, LI’s of -5 and Effective Bulk shear values of 40-55KT. This along with a system pushing through, will allow storms to become severe. Severe storms will also fire along the cold fron from the Carolinas into Georiga. They will continue into the Night before weakening.  The main threats will be hail, damaging winds and an isolated tornado. In the West, a system will continue to slowly push through the region. Showers and storms will be likely in the lower elevations and snow in the higher elevations. Beliw is the severe weather and snowfall outlook for Tuesday.

Monday’s Weather Outlook; West system, Mississippi Valley/Southeast/Mid-Atlantic/Great Lakes System

On Monday, a system will continue tp push east into the Ohio Valley, while a system continues to push into the West. Showers and storms will be likely of portions of the Mississippi Valley, Southeast, Mid-Atlantic, Great Lakes and Ohio Valley, as a system continues to move through the region. There is a slight risk for severe storms in portions of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georiga, Tennesse, Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana. CAPE values will be around 2000 J/KG, LI’s of -5, and Effective Bulk Shear values of 45-65KT. This along with a system moving through the area, will help storms become severe. Severe storms will be ongoing in the Morning across portions of Florida, Georiga and Alabama. They will affect the area through the day. In the Afternoon, a line of severe storms will develop along the cold front from Indiana dwon into Louisiana. These storms will push east into the Night. In the West, a system will continue to push into the area. Snow will be possible in the higher elevations and showers and storms in the lower elevations.
