Saturday’s Weather Outlook; Southeast/Mississippi Valley/Mid Atlantic System

On Saturday, a system will push southeast into the Mississippi Valley and Southeast. Showers and storms will be likely through the day in the Southeast. There is a slight risk for severe storms in Alabama, Georiga, South Carolina and Florida. CAPE will be around 1000 J/KG, Effective Bulk Shear around 60KT, and ample moisture. This along with a front in the area, will help storms become severe. With the mains threats being hail, damaging winds, and some tornadoes. In the Mississippi Valley, snow will be likely in an axis from Missouri to Tennessee. Accumulations are likely. Below is the severe weather and snowfall outlook for Saturday.
