Thursday’s Weather Outlook; Great Lakes/Northeast/Southeast System, Northern Plains System

9:45PM

On Thursday, a system will continue to push through the Northeast and Southeast, as a new system enters the Northern Plains. Lake effect and system snow will be likely in portions of the Northeast and Great Lakes, as a system exits the area. Accumulations are likely, with the highest abouts being found in the Northeast. In the Southeast, showers and storms will be likely, as a front moves through associated with the Northeast system. With limited instibility, a few storms may become severe, with the main threats being hail and damaging winds. In the Northern Plains, a clipper system will begin to affect the area with snow late in the day. Below is the thunderstorm and snowfall outlook for Thursday.
