Tuesday’s Weather Outlook; West/Plains/Mississippi Valley/Great Lakes System

On Tuesday, a system will pull out of the West, and begin to affect the Plains and points eastward. In the West, rain will be likely in the lower elevations, with snow in the higher elevations. In the Plains and Great Lakes, snow will be possible on the north side of a developing system. Further south along the system front in the Mississippi Valley, showers and storms will be possible. With limited instibility, some storms may become severe in portions of Arkansas, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Louisiana. With the main threats being damaing winds and hail. Below is the thunderstorm and snowfall outlook for Tuesday.

On Monday, a system will continue to move onshore along the West Coast. Showers and storms will be likely in the lower elevations, with snow in the higher elevations. In parts of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia, snow showers will be possible as a weak wave moves through. Below is the thunderstorm and snowfall outlook for Monday.
