On Wednesday, a storm system will continue to push through the Great Lakes, Northeast, and Southeast. As a system continues to push into the West. Snow will be possible in the Great Lakes and northern portions of the Northeast, on the north side of a system. Ice will be possilbe on the southern edge of the snow in the Northeast. In the Ohio Valley and Southeast, showers and storms will be possible. Some storms may be severe in the Southeast, with the main threats being damaging winds and hail. In the West, a system will continue to push into the area. Rain will be possible in the Southwest, while snow will be likely in the higher and lower elevations elsewhere. Monday-Wednesday Plains/Midwest/Great Lakes Winter Storm

Yet another Winter storm will be moving through the region, Monday into Wednesday. Heavy snow will be possible from the Plains and into the Great Lakes, while ice will be possible on the southern edge of the snow. Snow will likely continue into Christmas Eve across the Great Lakes, as the system pulls out of the region. Snow accumulations may reach 6-9 inches from Northern Illinois up into Michigan. From Central Illinois to the Northeast, ice will be possible, until the precipitation turns to rain. Below is the snowfall outlook for this system.

Tuesday Weather Outlook; Plains/Great Lakes/Mississippi Valley System, West System

On Tuesday, a system will continue to work through the Plains and into the Great Lakes and Mississippi Valley, while a new system begins to move onshore across the West Coast. Showers and storms will be likely through the day across the Ohio Valley, and Mississippi Valley. Further north, snow will be possible from the Plains and into the Great Lakes, with icing possible further south. Accumulations are likely. In the West, a new system will move onshore late in the day, with rain and snow being likely. Below is the thunderstorm and snowfall outlook for Tuesday.
