On Sunday, a clipper system wil continue to push through the Plains and into the Great Lakes, as lake effect snow continues in the Great Lakes. Snow will be possible through the day in the Northern Plains, and will push into the Great Lakes during the Night. Some accumulation is possible. In the Great Lakes, lake effect snow will continue to be possible down wind of the lakes. Accumulations are possible. In the Northeast, a coastal system will be moving through, bringing soem raina nd snow to the area. In the West, a system will begin to slowly develop, bringing rain to the Southwest. A weak clipper system will move from the Plain and into the Great Lakes. This system will spread snow over the region, with general accumulations of 1-3 inches, with some area seeing locally higher amounts. Below is the snowfall forecast for this system.

Saturday’s Weather Outlook; Great Lakes/Northeast Clipper, Great Lakes Lake Effect Snow

On Saturday, a clipper system will continue to push through the Great Lakes, lake effect snow will be ongoing in the Great Lakes, as another clipper system enter the Northern Plains. Snow will be likely through the day in portions of the Great Lakes, as lake effect snow and system snow affects the area. Accumulations are likely. In the Northeast, the energy from the clipper in the Great Lakes will transfer to the coast, where a coastal storm will develop. This will bring rain and snow to the region. In the Northern Plains, snow will develip during the Night, as yet another clipper system enters the area. Below is the thunderstorm and snowfall outlook for Saturday.
