Friday’s Weather Outlook; Great Lakes Lake Effect Snow, Northeast Clipper, Plains System

7:30PM

On Friday, lake effect snow will continue in the Great Lakes, as a clipper moves out of the Northeast. snow showers will continue through the early part of the day in the Northeast, as the clipper moves off the Coast. In the Great Lakes, lake effect snow will continue in wind wind areas. Heavy accumulations over 6 inches will be possible. Friday Afternoon and Night, a weak system will move into the Plains. This system will bring a shield of snow and mixed precipitation to the area. Snowfall accumulations are possible, though I will hold off on a snowfall map for this storm until uncertainties are worked out. Below is my thunderstorm outlook, and below that is the snowfall forecast for Friday.
