Monday-Wednesday Plains Snow Event

A storm system is begining to affect portions of the Plains with snow and freezing rain. There will be the potential for a mix of snow/sleet/freezing rain through Wednesday. Snow accumulations of 1-3 inches will be possible from Colorado up into Northern Iowa and Southern Minnesota, as cold air sticks around. Accumualtions of 3-6 inches will be possible in Colorado and Nebraska. Heavier snow will fall in Southwestern Nebraska and Northeastern Colorado, where 6-9 icnhes of snow may fall. Freezing rain will be possible along the southern area of snow accumulations from Nebraska into Iowa. Below is my snowfall forecast for the system.
