Thursday’s Weather Outlook; Plains/Midwest/Great Lakes/Mississippi Valley System

On Thursday, a system will continue to slowly move across the Central States. Showers and storms will be ongoing and continue through the day across portions of the Plains, Midwest, Great Lakes, and Mississippi Valley. In the Afternoon, in the Sourthern Mississippi Valley, with limited instibility, a few storms may become severe. The main threats will be damaging winds and hail. In the Northern Plains, heavy snow with blizzard conditions will be likely through the day. By the time the snow ends on friday, over 12 inches can be expected in many areas of South Dakota and North Dakota. Below is my severe weather outlook for Thursday.
