Monday’s Weather Outlook; Plains/Midwest System

On Monday a system will continue to work its way through the Plains, and into the Midwest. I have issued an islated risk for severe storms on Monday, for portions of Iowa, Illinois, and Missouri. Showers and storms will be ongoing in the Morning across portions of Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois. These shower and storms will persist through the day as they spread northeast. In portions of Iowa, Missouri, and Illinois a few storm may become severe with the main threat being hail, though coverage will be isolated because of limited instability. Otherwise heavy rains will fall from Nebraska and Kansas into Illinois and Wisconsin, where up to 2 inches of rain may fall. Below is my severe weather outlook for Monday.

Sunday’s Weather Outlook; Plains Storm

On Sunday a system will begin to push through the Plains. I have issued an isolated risk for severe storms on Sunday across portions of Kansas and Nebraska. Showers and storms will be possible over much of the Plains on Sunday. Some storms in Kansas and Nebraska may become severe with the threat of hail, though coverage will be isolated because of limited instibility. heavy rainfall will be possible in parts of Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa Sunday Night, with up to 2 inches being possible. This area of heavy rain will shift northeast on Moonday. Below is my severe weather outlook for Sunday.
