Thursday’s Severe Weather Outlook
11:30PM
A system will continue to slowly push across the Northeast, Southeast, and Plains. I have issued a slight risk for severe storms on Thursday. Storms will likely be onging in portions of Colorado and Kansas in the Morning. These storms will produce heavy rain. In the Southeast, in the Afternoon, SB CAPE is expected to get up to around 3500, ML cAPE around 1500, and LI’s of -6. This combined with a front moving through will cause severe storms to develop. These storms will push eastward into the Evening before weakening. In the Northeast, in the Afternoon, SB CAPE and ML CAPE will get up near 1500, this combined with a system over the area will cause storms to develop. Some of these storms will become severe and last until Evening, before weakening. Threats from any severe storms will be damagign winds, hail, and an isolated tornado. Below is my severe weather outlook for Thursday.
