Tuesday’s Severe Weather Outlook

A frontal system will continue to slowly move across the Midwest, Ohio Valley, and Plains, this will continue to produce severe weather. I have issued a slight risk for severe storms on Tuesday. Storms will be ongoing in portions of Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. Storms in Illinois and Indiana will be severe. In the Afternoon across the Ohio Valley into the Plains, SB CAPE is expected to get up to 6000, ML CAPE up to 3000, and LI’s of -10. This combine with a front moving into the area will help develop severe storms. These storms will move east-southeast into the Night. In parts of Wyoming, South Dakota, and Montana, an impulse will move in, along with SB CAPE of 2500, and ML CAPE of 2000, will help severe storms to develop. They will last into he Night before weakening in South Dakota. Threats from any severe storms will be damaging winds, hail, and an isolated tornado. Below is my severe weather outlook for Tuesday.
