Friday’s Severe Weather Outlook

A system will continue to push through the Midwest and Plains on Friday, with the threat of severe storms. I have issued a slight risk for severe storms on Friday. Storms will be ongoing in the Morning across portions of North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois. Some of the storms in Minnesota and Wisconsin may be severe. In the Late Afternoon or most likely Evening severe storms will sevelop from North Dakota/Minnesota back into Nebraska. Storms will form into MCS’s or a squall line and push east into Wisconsin and Iowa through the Night. One factor that will play a role into when storms fire is the CAP, it is forecast to weaken by Evening, which will allow storm development. Threats from any severe storms will be damaging winds, hail, and some tornadoes. Below is my severe weather outlook for Friday.
