Midweek Warm Up/Late Week-Early Weekend Storms

This week a warm up will affect most of the country, many northern area’s will go into the upper 40’s and 50’s, while southern area’s may get into the 70’s and 80’s. This will all come to an end late Thursday when a front will move through producing showers and isolated thunderstorms across much of the Central and Eastern parts of the country. Below is a map showing high temperatures on Thursday. Below the map is comments on a possible Friday-Saturday Snow Storm.

Late Week-Early Weekend Winter Storm Possibility

Another winter storm looks to affect the region Friday into Saturday. As of right now it looks like several inches of snow would be likely for Nebraska, Iowa, Northern Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. This storm is still several days away, thus the track and strength of this system may change. Below is a look at how the GFS models shows the storm.
